The “Seven No's” Principle for NCP Prevention and Control in Fujian Province

The CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and Fujian Provincial People’s Government have outlined a “seven no’s” principle for epidemic prevention and control in a scientific manner and in accordance with law.

1. No parochial interest above the bigger picture. Region-specific measures shall not affect neighboring localities.

2. No one-size-fits-all or simplistic approach. Measures shall be specific, targeted and meticulous.

3. No release of measures beyond the law and the scope of authority. Prevention and control measures shall have a legal basis and be carried out in accordance with law.

4. No road blocks or lockdowns on residential communities or villages. Smooth transport shall be ensured so as not to upend a normal life and disrupt work schedule.

5. No unwarranted pressures on enterprises to resume operation or production. Assistance shall be provided to solve the problems and difficulties encountered.

6. No arbitrary ban on employees returning from places other than worst-affected areas. Health tracking for returnees shall be done in a scientific manner.

7. No unauthorized disclosure of personal information. Individual privacy shall be protected in information gathering and health tracking.
