Fujian Adjusts Public Health Emergency Response Levels

Based on relevant national laws and regulations as well as the current epidemic situation in the province, Fujian has decided to lower the public health emergency response from Level 1 to Level 2 in medium-risk districts/counties, and to Level 3 in low-risk districts/counties from 24:00, February 26, 2020 in response to COVID-19 developments.

In line with the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Prevention and Treatment of Infectious Diseases and an area and tier-based approach for epidemic prevention and control, all localities across the province shall adopt targeted measures in light of local conditions as part of the coordinated effort to boost economic and social development alongside epidemic control with tireless vigilance.
