Fujian and Kwazulu-Natal Celebrate 15th Anniversary of Twinning

A webinar on youth innovation and entrepreneurship was held on November 9 to mark the 15th anniversary of sisterhood between Fujian and Kwazulu-Natal (KZN), South Africa.

 

 

Luo Guansheng, Vice President of FJPAFFC, Li Teng, Deputy Secretary of CYL Fujian Provincial Committee, Richard Radebe, Director for International Relations of the KZN Premier’s Office, and Professor Sibusiso Moyo, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Durban University of Technology (DUT) attended the virtual event and delivered remarks on Fujian-KZN friendship and youth cooperation.

 

 

 

During the sharing session, attendees from DUT, Fujian Youth Entrepreneurship Council, Fujian Chunlun Tea Group, Fujian Youth Returnees Association, and Fujian Carousel Internet Service Co., Ltd discussed entrepreneurship and innovation through the lens of their respective sectors and businesses.

 

Since the twinning of Fujian and Kwazulu-Natal in 2006, the two provinces have developed fruitful cooperation in such areas as trade, education, Juncao, people-to-people exchanges and anti-epidemic efforts. The anniversary celebration provides a fresh opportunity for bilateral cooperation to scale a new height.
