On August 8, Fujian (China) Week and China Investment Forum was successfully held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. 

Mr. Li Manchang, Chinese Ambassador to Serbia, Mr. Liang Jianyong, Member of the Standing Committee and Secretary General of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, Mr. Tomislav Nikolić, former President of Serbia, as well as several high-level Serbian officials attended the event. 

Entrepreneurs from both China and Serbia attending the forum showed great interest in cooperation. Many of them found potential partners. 

Fujian keeps a close relationship with Serbia, with Zijin Mining’s mining project in Serbia as a fine example of trade and economic exchanges between the two sides. During the form, Fujian officials and Belgrade city officials discussed the possibility of relevant cooperation projects.
