Pan Zheng, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of Fujian Provincial People’s Congress, led a delegation to Pwani, Tanzania. On June 28, the delegation members met with Evarist Ndikilo, Regional Commissioner of Pwani.
Ndikilo had a brief introduction about the Region and listed ten reasons for investing in its five major investment areas. Both sides had an in-depth discussion and reached a consensus on the establishment of friendly relationship and cooperation in such fields as business, investment and agriculture.
As a result, a letter of intent has been signed to establish friendly relationship between Fujian Province and Pwani Region. The two sides agreed to work together to tap into the huge potential for mutually beneficial cooperation and deepen collaboration in various fields for win-win outcomes under the cooperation framework between the two countries and between China and Africa as a whole.
