The media delegation is the first of its kind from Dominican Republic that has visited China since the two countries established diplomatic relations. In Xiamen, the delegation saw the strong capacity of a modern shipbuilding company, enjoyed the beauty of Gulangyu, felt the passion of young talents from Taiwan working at a cultural and creative park, and tasted the aroma Fujian tea. Through this visit, they gained a better understanding of the city's achievements through four decades of reform and opening up and its deep bond with Taiwan.
