On August 12, Vice Governor Zhao Zenglian met in Fuzhou with Mikko Kinnunen, Ambassador of Finland to China.

On behalf of the provincial government, Zhao welcomed the Ambassador and his delegation, and provided a brief overview of Fujian’s economic and social progress. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the preparations for the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT). They agreed to ensure the high-quality success of Finland’s Guest Country of Honor activities, foster stronger synergies in industries where both sides hold competitive edges, and further expand practical cooperation in areas such as culture and tourism, green and digital economies, as well as broader commercial ties.
