On May 25, Vice Governor Zhao Zenglian met in Fuzhou with participants of the 2026 Fujian Seminar for Kenyan Party and Government Officials.

On behalf of the provincial government, Zhao welcomed the participants, elaborated on President Xi Jinping’s important visions and practices during his tenure in the province, and briefed on Fujian’s economic and social development. During the meeting, the vice governor and the participants had an in-depth talk on strengthening sister-city ties, enhancing mutual learning, and expanding pragmatic cooperation in areas such as the economy, trade, infrastructure, education, science, and technology.
